Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Business Development Ops / Marketing Assistant to support our business development, CRM management, marketing execution, and administrative operations.

This role is critical in keeping our sales pipeline organized, supporting lead generation efforts, improving follow-up consistency, and ensuring marketing and business development activities are executed on time and accurately.

You will work directly with leadership to help manage Pipedrive, support outreach campaigns, assist with marketing tasks, and maintain accurate data across systems.

This is a fast-paced, remote role that requires strong structure, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & CRM (Pipedrive)

  • Manage and maintain the BD pipeline in Pipedrive with accurate, up-to-date information
  • Track all follow-ups, next steps, and deal activity
  • Ensure every opportunity has proper notes, stages, and status updates
  • Support lead tracking, referral tracking, and pipeline reporting
  • Identify and help create new business development opportunities

Lead Generation & Outreach Support

  • Research and identify commercial prospects, referral partners, and decision-makers
  • Manage repeatable BD campaigns, such as customer reactivation, seasonal outreach, and referrals
  • Conduct commercial prospect research and build and maintain targeted contact lists
  • Assist in coordinating follow-ups with past clients and prospects

Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Assist with email campaigns in Pipedrive
  • Support content preparation (BD and marketing emails, basic copy, presentations)
  • Help maintain marketing assets, files, and customer materials
  • Support social media and website content updates as needed
  • Coordinate with marketing vendors (e.g., designers, photographers, writers)
  • Track campaign execution and reporting results

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized CRM, spreadsheets, and internal documentation
  • Support reporting for weekly meetings and leadership updates
  • Help track action items and ensure follow-through on tasks
  • Assist with general data entry and system updates

Requirements

  • Highest-level English communication skills required (written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred)
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive)
  • Strong follow-up discipline and reliability
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Must be available to work EST business hours
  • Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection

Preferred Experience:

  • Business development, sales support, or marketing assistant experience, preferably B2B focused
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or lead research tools
  • Experience supporting service-based or construction-related businesses

Schedule

  • Part-time: up to 20 hours per week
  • Must be available during EST business hours
  • Flexible scheduling within agreed working window
  • Occasional meetings required

Compensation

  • $7.00 - $9.00 per hour
  • Based on experience, performance, and demonstrated ability

What Success Looks Like

  • CRM pipeline is always accurate and up to date
  • Leads and follow-ups are consistently tracked and completed
  • New business opportunities are actively created and supported
  • Marketing campaigns are executed on time
  • Leadership has clear visibility into pipeline and BD activity
